Joy
Galatians 5:22-But the Fruit of the Spirit is love,
joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and
self-control. Against such things there
is no law.
Joy is
gladness not based on circumstances. Joy is more than happiness. We experience
Joy by looking past our current uncomfortable circumstances the likes
of financial problems, martial problems, job problems, this problem and
that problem with our faith, fellowship and fullness in our Lord Jesus
Christ. Joy is what all believers should experience.
Even
Jesus experienced Joy in John 17:13 he says “I am coming to you now, but I say
these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have full measure
of my joy within them. The Greek word used for joy here is chara which
means “the joy received from you.”
Jesus
wants us to have joy in him because he knows Joy from anything else, will at
some point let us down, but if we have joy in him, we will never be let down
because even when we are let down… by faith we trust that whatever it is that
God has allowed to happen will work together for our good.
Jesus
want’s us to have his joy, it’s a joy that the world can't give nor can the
word take away.
Settle for
nothing less than God’s joy today and everyday!
God Bless
you and remember to go as far as God is willing to take you!
